A practice, not an agency
Growth Nuts is a boutique search practice. I scope every engagement myself, and specialists are brought in for the work that needs them. You do not get handed to a junior account manager after the contract is signed.
Who you work with
Scott McGovern, founder. I have worked in search and digital publishing for 15+ years. I built Green Rush Daily into a publication that High Times acquired for $7 million, and it grew almost entirely through organic search. I have also written nine columns on search and growth for Entrepreneur. The sources for each of those are on my about page.
Month-to-month
There is no long-term contract. If the work is not earning its fee, you can stop. That keeps the focus on results you can see.
Measured on business results
Rankings are a means, not the goal. Work is tracked in GA4 and Search Console against calls, forms, bookings and revenue, with a baseline recorded before anything changes. You see the same numbers I see.
What I will not promise
- Guaranteed rankings or a specific position. Nobody controls Google.
- Guaranteed mentions in ChatGPT, Gemini or AI Overviews. I test and report what those systems say; I do not pretend to control them.
- Results by a date that has not been earned by the data.
If someone else promises these, ask how.
The work is published
Eleven case studies are on the results page, each with the business type, the problem and what changed. There are no invented testimonials or star ratings on this site.
Who it is not for
If you want the cheapest package, a set number of backlinks a month, or a guarantee, I am not the right fit. If you want an honest read on what is holding your site back and someone accountable for fixing it, start with a free audit or get in touch.
